How to Reset Environment in D365 CRM

Introduction :

In this blog, we will see how to reset the D365 CRM Environment.

If your requirement is Field Service App but while installing Environment what if we installed all Apps?

Solution: we can reset the Environment.

In this scenario, Our client requirement is only Sales App and we have installed all Apps

Step 1 – Go to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/  -> Select Environment you want to reset.

If Your Instance is Production, you will not able to see the Reset option to reset your environment.

First, convert your instance to Sandbox by clicking on “Convert to Sandbox”.

After clicking on Convert to Sandbox, Click on Continue.

Once your Instance is converted to Sandbox, Pop up will be displayed as shown below –

Now you have successfully initiated the conversion of Production to Sandbox Instance.

Once the instance is converted you will see a reset option.

Step 2 – Click on Reset.

When we click on the Reset, the Form will be opened and we can see options to redeploy the Apps.

Select Apps you want to redeploy. In our scenario, our requirement is Field Service App only, we have selected only Field Service App.

Click on Reset and confirm.
